aqua splash

today we went to a waterpark- like 7 peaks. it was called "aqua splash." i am now officially exhausted. and for once will be in bed by 10:15. afterwards, we went to a fast food drive thru to get dinner and ate it at home. the fast food joint was appropriately named "quick" and is a huge chain throughout france, a sort of spinoff of our fast food restaurants. it seems kind of silly to go all the way to france and then have fast food, but we all figured i needed to try it in france at least once, to compare. my verdict--> still don't really like fast food, but i could taste a slight difference in a french hamburger.
julien, the 14-year-old, told me yesterday that i don't speak at all like i did the first day. yay! i'm making progress. i don't think i'll have that enviable french accent with my english speaking when i come back, but my french will be transformed.
tomorrow, the real sightseeing begins.

  2. That sounds like so much fun! I wonder if i'll be able to hear a difference in your French when you get back. I didn't understand it to start with but maybe i'll be able to hear your amazing French accent while it lasts! :)
