K, if I hadn't had chicken pox when I was 4 years old or so, I would have been sure that I have it right now. I am COVERED! COVERED in these really itchy irritations all over, particularly concentrated on my forearms and hands and fingers. They look like little insect bites (about a third of the size of what mosquito bites usually look like on me). I'm itchy all over. I went to the pharmacist to get a cream called Dermofenac that's supposed to help (active ingredient hydrocortisone .5%) but it hasn't been terribly helpful so far. I'm wondering if it's those bugs from a week ago, but I don't know. I've got these little zit thingies on my neck, all around my chin, one on my lip, my arms, my legs, my feet... BLAGH!
One of the volunteers who works at Les Petits Frères with me is a medical doctor by profession, so she looked at them, I talked to the pharmacist, and Marie-Alixe has given me homeopathy to take care of it. We'll see. I think that this is something that will have to leave on its own...
Yeah, no pictures today, either. I wasn't feeling very inspired for sightseeing. More irritated (haha, double meaning) than depressed tho :)
That's awful! At the same time, that's really exciting! You have another great experience to relate from your trip! Nevertheless I hope get feeling better. That's sad that you had to suffer while vacationing!
